Biography:

Anushca Choennie started teaching mathematics in 2003 at a secondary school, VWO-4. In 2014 she was invited by the Advanced Teacher Training College (IOL) to work full time as a lecturer where she taught several courses, including Analysis, Real Analysis and Geometry till 2021.

She got her master’s degree in Mathematics in 2019 at the Interfaculty for Graduate Studies and Research of Suriname. Her final project focused on analyzing the president elections of 2010 with Game theory.

Since 2021 she is working as a lecturer at the Mathematics Department of AdeKUS (FWNW). In her current employment she teaches Ordinary Differential Equations, Partial Differential Equations, Real Analysis and Applied Linear Algebra.

Her main interest is in Game theory and Statistics.

Research:

• Main research interest: Analysis of the new electoral system of Suriname by applying Game theory.
