Biography:

Carol Ann Bobson got her master’s degree in linguistics from the Faculty of Humanities of the Anton de Kom University of Suriname. She is a currently a lecturer at the Faculty of Humanities in the Department of Language and Literature, where she teaches the courses Introduction to the Phonetics of Dutch, Introduction to Phonology, Argumentation and Rhetoric, Debating and Debate Theory, and Language Policy and Language Planning.

Research:

• Establishing a database of SN words with definition.
• Survey of language use among students at AdeKUS.
