Ranoesetiko, Chemberlain
Biography:
I am a lecturer at the Faculty of Medical Sciences of Anton de Kom University of Suriname, where I teach within the Physiotherapy program. In addition to my teaching responsibilities, I currently serve as Program Coordinator for the Master’s degree in Physiotherapy and actively contribute to several academic committees.
Beyond academia, I am committed to public engagement through my role as a volunteer and board secretary at Stichting Sport, Mi Kan Du. In this capacity, I support initiatives that promote social inclusion by enabling children with physical disabilities to access and participate in sports and recreational activities, fostering both personal growth and athletic development.
As a graduate of the Physiotherapy program at my institution, I was honored to receive the Dean’s Award in recognition of academic excellence.
My research interests primarily focus on knee osteoarthritis, though I also enjoy collaborating with colleagues on a broad range of research projects. This combination of academic leadership, community involvement, and research engagement reflects my dedication to advancing physiotherapy education, promoting inclusion, and contributing to evidence-based practice
