ZUURBIER, Pam H. PhD.

Biography:

Pam H. Zuurbier got his PhD in Social, Behavioral and Spatial Sciences at the University of Amsterdam, the Netherlands. He worked as a lecturer at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, before moving to Paramaribo to the Faculty of Social Science at the Anton de Kom University of Suriname, where he builds his career for more than 15 years. In his current employment he teaches Research Methods and Organizational Psychology. His main research interests include subjectivation in Narrative and Organizational Psychology for analyzing network systems, with attention to cultural subjectivation. Specific topics of interest are reading-against-the-grain, religion and subjectivation, emancipating marginalized groups, performative spaces and modelling decentralized selves.
